Spent the last 1 1/2 days trying to get the engine going - Had confirmed last weekend that the computer wasn't getting the signal it needs to activate the fuel pump, but still had to work all the way through the distributor electrickery, as hard-wiring the pump to ignition +ve didn't work either. Turns out the Primary coil is just out of spec, & the Secondary coil is stuffed, so I've re-connected the pump through the 'pooter & I'm off to Honda on Monday to order a new one...

@davem - I can only see one pic, but it looks good, real good. Is the bonnet vented? I've been looking for a louvered clubman bonnet for a while now, & decided I'll just have to buy a 2nd hand one from somewhere & modify it myself.

got it back on the road after a 5 month rest refreshed the engine replaced the broken pinion gear changed the drive shaft yokes to pot joints took it for a short drive still works :D :D
thanks to Peter Morris Jon Scott and everybody who helped

now to get the other 3 on the road :(

Replaced rear windscreen chrome filler strip (what a right barsteward)
Started on the soundproofing (bonnet/ boot lid)
Replace rear speakers

re-fit the fan and heater box after having it all out to remove the corroded fins from the core and check for leaks.
still need to do a cooling system flush cause there is a heap of crap in there. and figure out a heater tap.
