Fitted the engine mount/lower radiator support - fitted new thermostat then the radiator only to find the top radiator hose suppled by Karcraft is about 1" too short

Fiddled with a couple of short brake lines for the rear wheels and salvaged some old female fittings as the new ones I bought are short about 2½ turns hence stripping threads

Fitted a brake line from the firewall T piece to the subframe/brake switch T piece.

Had a look at my dripping sump plug.

put the engine back in after taking it out yesterday, swapped the steering rack for a new less buggered one, put it all back together and drove her round the block. Then put her in dads shop and went home has to get a wheel alignment and such tommorow

Didn't like the idea of the steering wheel moving up and down and my indicators not cancelling. Loosened the U-bolt and swung it around to line up the indicators. Had a hard time getting the shaft all the way down. Finally got it sorted and for once I have indicators that self cancel. Unfortuantely now my steering wheel is not facing the right way. Need to find a socket for the boss, that will be next weekends job.

Cut the front off of a Mini that somebody offered me so I can put it on one of the Minis I picked up a couple months ago. Cut some rust out of an old rear subframe and welded in some fresh steel and give it a paint job. Clean up the points in an old voltage regulator and set it all up according to the specs in a FSM.

On Sat I put 1lt of oil in the LS and then drove it 115 miles to cut the back of a mini, then put it on my trailer and towed it to its new home. Sunday I drove another mini around some bends { at speed} and today iI found the left rear top suspension arm in the Fang is bent by about 1 inch

Idrilled a couply of holes so I can start hiding the Loom.

Then I got sick and tired of catching my knees and backside on the seat rails and suport some one had put in

Rails were easy enought to rip out but who ever welded the suports in didn't want them to come out again

Image

after two 1/2 hour of cutting with my trust grinder they were finaly out but the leftover welds were still thier so the trusty grinder was worth its weight in gold today

Linished to complett and only one hole on the tunnel just behild the handbrake which will have to be welded up aswell with the Majic Wand hole also
Image

I love using my grinder specaily when I am happy with the result
