Fitted the steering column - tightened up the rack U bolts fitted the steering wheel and adjusted the self cancelling indicators. fitted the horn button.

cleaned out both carbys with kero, put back together and roadtested......still running crap..tommorow its back off with the bits and further cleaning and mixing and matching :roll: :evil: :cry:

rubed down inner gaurd for final coats of gloss black and also scorred a clean clubby wiring loom for $9 8) perfect for me to add to mine to hide all the wires :wink:

Picked mine up from the trimmers today took her home and put all the new chrome interior trim parts back on she looks so good, the blue pipeing just works so well. The wife was right (for once). :D :D :D

been 2 busy working to do any thing i have the engine out at the moment
waiting a 2nd gear rebuild seems though that i need 2to re tap the holes in
my fly wheel as i striped 2 bolts trying to remove the bl**dy thing and now the holes are full of 3/8th low grade balt oh well guess them the breaks

went and got a centre exit exhaust fitted.
on the way there i discovered the flasher can was playing up for the RHS so have got a temp flasher from supercheap. fixed the mixture up a bit, but cant find any timing marks anywhere.

anyone know where there should be timing marks on a 998 A+? cant see any marks/notches on the crank pulley and couldnt see anything on the flywheel

it's not what I did to the mini, but what the mini did to me...

decided not to drive the mini to work today.

hopped into the xtrail, reversed 1 meter.. bang straight into the bluestone wall.
