I took the 850 to James at Wilson Automotive in glenorchy. He fixed my leaking fuel tank, replaced my stuffed brake light switch and fixed my sticking accelarator cable. The man is a mini god! not trying to suck up but I am rapt with what he did to my car and his customer service is awesome! highly reccomended for any mini troubles in tassy :D

waiting for Karcraft to call me to say pick up the hi flow pump so i can grind out the block if need be...

Did you put them on relays? Do it, the difference in lighting is unbelievable

Put in a 88 degree thermostat. The engine was running too cool with a low temp thermostat.

Today I fitted a long range Fuel tank and an eye level stop light and I also fitted a switch to override the Thermo fan switch manually. Fitting this tank will save me fitting the RH tank which I will be fitting to My Mini K instead, when I do it.

The last couple evenings I've worked on the cage in the Travelle"R". I have built the last of the tubes and welded all of them in except the door tubes. I'm currently mounting the seats where I want them and then I'll fine tune the door bars and weld them in. I've also done some more welding on the car and I've been organizing my huge pile of Mini parts.

I gave the van a good clean inside and out then took it to get some photos taken by the local newspaper for their auto section.
Now it's sitting in the shed waiting for me to find where all the bloody oil is leaking from, why the radio now goes static when the engine is running and why high beam has gone AWOL

Replaced a broken accelerator cable on one of the fleet, which had unfortunately broken in peak hour traffic at the top of Oxford St.

I hope you didn't jump out, open the bonnet and bend over the engine....

last night I did the wheel alignment, put some more fluid in the hydro and changed the oil

tonight I adjusted my back brakes, and replaced the left rear wheel bearing

ready for tomorrow, so now I'm off to bed :)
