Well the engine's ready to be lifted out, just have to undo the mounts and pop! Well that's the plan...
I've removed and tagged the interior loom and the engine loom.
And I'm frickin annoyed... this damn rain!

Fairly sunny yesterday so I decided to clear the rocker cover. 3 coats... went inside to let it dry and.. RAIN!!!

I'm going to paint strip it and just paint it in the booth with the car.. at least I know sort-of what it will come up like, I'll post the pre-rain pics
Pinky! -- Cheers

It's going to be a cream colour.. similar to 'Sugar Cane' but a bit darker/deeper. Very similar to minimetoy's.
'77 clubby van -- Yep, well aware

Although I think it's the other way round -- long runners better low down, short better up top

for power that is.. I'll actually lose a bit of torque by shortening the runners.
I have a cross-section pic somewhere that shows the manifold -- The runners contract as they come from the plenum to the head to increase air speed. I'm hoping I don't have to take that much out, so It shouldn't worry.
I remember on my 20v it had quad throttles ( very short manifold ) then the runners came off the throttles and twisted down ~6 inches..
Seeing as I'm going to have to modify the inlet anyway, quads are quickly becoming an option. I'm just weighing up the costs of fabrication then engine management. I just need to get the thing in there first!
