Hi, new to minis, if bore spacings are the same can a 1100k round nose head fit on the later 998 blocks?

Yes, no problem. Bore size and spacing is the same, so is the block.
As the combustion chamber is a little bigger on the K head, I'd deck it 1mm or so or the C/R will be too low.

russ...got the number off the head :?: ....you need to take the rocker/tappett cover off and it is cast into the head....12G202 or similar

It may be better to check what head you have, and check with the Doc before you plonk it on to your 998cc...Cheers, Mick
