has anyone here had experience with busa engines........ Unless you are dead serious about big big bucks you wouldnt even attempt......here is why
1: a busa engine is now around $5000-$6000 from a wrecker thanks to Phil Wards aussie ledgend series making them thin
2 :you need to strenghten the box's due to more load from extra weight..... under cut gears, bigger main shaft and sproket carrier will chew about another $2000
3: the engines only make 170hp stock......
4: can some one correctly look up the price of the z-car kit complete less engine...... and watch your jaws drop.......

Fair points raised but I priced one up here in Brisbvegas and they wanted $3.5k for motor and everything you need to run it.

Z cars kit are not marketed as a thrifty solution either. They are slick bit of kit for those who don't mind parting with some cash on behalf of their passion. I suspect one could build the same thing for alot less.
