It means you need to pump your hydro up... It has nothing to do with your ride height. If your car is sitting on your rear bump stops then your hydro is way too low...

I noticed Lillee's handling and overall ride increased considerably when the hydro was pumped up.

Also make sure they aren't sitting on the body the body "flange" thingy that sticks out. I had to bend mine out with multigrips...

No Chong,
They are tall as they are designed for the car to sit on, but they will settle a bit after a while. Mine sits pretty level now with full tanks.
They are really progressive springs, not just crash stops like the originals. I wouldn't cut them down, Stuart, or they will be useless.

Hey??? Mine are like 2-3cm between the bump stop and body at normal ride height? they don't sit on the stops 100% of the time do they? in that case my hydro is too high?

Your hydro is probably right, just the retainer springs at the back could be worn, not balancing the hydros right..

Yes after discussing with Doc last night we came to the conclusion that the car should not be sitting on the bump stops 100% of the time. If this is the case then 1) your hydro is a bit low, meaning the back sits on the bump stops making the front lean forward, 2) your helper springs are worn 3) the bump stops need to settle in abit and will compress slightly with time.

On that note I had this exact same problem when they were first installed, the car leaned forward quite a far bit. After a hydro syste flush and repumped and alot of greasing up of the rear arms and front arms, this has settled down. Now Lillee is even front and back, no more forward lean... Make sure you grease those nipples!
