twin turbo is possible.. look at a 1JZ-GTE, its two turbos run off one log manifold, they dont actually split the 6 clylinders into 3 for each turbo.. they just sit at opposite ends of a big log manifold

the 2JZ run them sequentially.

i dont think TT would be suitable for a 998 however unless they were really small

Ive just been told that it may NOT be off a GTX.. but rather an Early WRX STI ! (in which case the A/r maybe right off . . . .)

the exhaust housing is similar in size to my existing one, but the turbine is more "open" (hopefully the lighter ball bearing cartridge will offset the "looser" turbine wheel.....)

Oh well, its all fun isnt it ?

gotta give it a go .....

Jim I'll have a look at mine...

Tis off a Familia....dont think they would of come out in that many different trims so I shall have a look....

i have a couple of these turbos of my tx3 turbo which is the same as a familia gtx, if its a vj14, vj12 or vj11 they are of the mazda, the vj10 is of an old legacy gt, all of these turbos are the same they just have different water and oil locations, the vj10 has a bigger compressor wheel but the same exhaust side. you should have these vj numbers stamped on there somewhere

Good list that...

Jim, mines an RHB-5 not RHF series....but it is definately out of a Familia...VJ20 compressor trim. Yours should have a trim identifier on there as well but I coudlnt see anything.

More than likely it is off a WRX...quite sure these were more RHF rather than RHB series turbos...
