Hi All,

I'm tidying up some of my wiring and found a Brown with green trace wire off the Regulator that doesn't go anywhere. Where is it meant to go?
On the Alternator is a brown/White trace and it works on the ignitions light on Speedo. And the charge cable going back to the battery box/start solenoid.

The F wire would be disconnected if the new alternator is internally regulated and the 8TR is still fitted.

Thanks GTO, yes it's got a later Rover internal regulator Alternator fitted. So looking at the diagram the 8TR can be removed. I was getting confused why it had an internal and external reg......

If the external regulator is removed just tape the wire up, it only goes to the regulator multipin connector.
