I would like to know how to identify Cooper 'S' pushrods from Mini pushrods or are they all the same?

It is not hard to spot once you know. The 1275 pushrods are a different length to 850/998/1100 pushrods in that the 1275 pushrods are a 1/4 inch longer.

Thanks Mick. Is there any difference in the stem thickness?

They have always appeared to me to be identical except for length.

I think I have tagged the pictures correctly. Please tell me if I am wrong.

Yes that would be correct.

So, are all 1275 push rods the same shape at the ends as the cooper S.
in other words, there not Cooper S push rods but 1275 push rods ?

I have "1275" pushrods with triangular ends like the bottom one in the above photo. So yes, there are 1275 non S ones.

but they bent after <1000 miles but that's another story...

I have 1-1/2 sets of original 1275 non- S pushrods, all look the same as the S ones in above pic. NOT triangular.

After Chong's problem above with new UK ones bending I would consider sourcing competition ones from APT in USA. Expensive but worth it, IMO.
