There were loads in Auburn Store. They are in Black packaging now so I was confused and couldn't find them as I was looking for blue! Only bought 3 as I can't fit any more in my garage. Next sale I'll buy a dozen or something.

Sold my first car and project 75 mazda 808 for 5.5k. Never got around to the nitty gritty being young and dumb. Reckon i just bought the mini a paintjob!

If I go very quiet there's a very good chance I broke something.

Managed to figure out how the rod change gear-selection mechanism under the gearbox mainshaft fits together - makes a Rubics Cube look simple

Found a heap more Cooper S parts I forgot I had in storage. Might be time to stop hoarding and cash in on some Cooper S inflation tax.

Susanna got her first full coat of Spray Putty today, after I spent two full days of the weekend sanding, filling and priming.
Later on I fogged over a coat of black "guide coat"

Pressed a new stub axle in after i cut the old one up. The left hand thread threw someone off and the nut and bearing was smooshed.

Wasn't happy about it either

After a month overseas today I took the car cover off. With my skeptical friend looking on, gave the weber a few pumps and it fired up 1st crank. I love this car! :-)

I've done a couple of very easy things recently that made a huge difference:
Replaced the lockable fuel cap with the one you can get from supercheap. I filled up the tank this morning and it's passed the roundabout test with no leaks!
Replaced the old Britax seat belts with some modern retractable belts. They are much nicer to use :D
Fitted a proper firewall insulation blanket which has reduced the noise level inside.

Cut up/dumped a whole heap of parts. Tired of seeing them laying around. Not worth weighing them in with the current commodity prices
