Ordered electronic dizzy and stealth box. Took my timber dash down to a joinery to get a price on redoing it.

Finally got the courage to attack the RHS fuel tank filler hole and cut the blasted thing out...drill...measure...grind...measure...grind more...insert tank...look...dremel grind...a bit more...snugs fit...grind more...nice even fit. Insert spacer, drill holes in back of seat, brackets in, straps attached, tank back in...forgot sturdy foam support under tank, refit and drill strap securing hole, weld captive nut in...voila. All done...

Tomorrow morning will run the hoses for the tanks. Thought about using the front cross brake line as a fuel line so will toy with that in the morning. Purists will hate me for it!

Ended up grabbing a length of bundy pipe at 5/16 OD and will suffice for the tube along the bottom front of the boot area. Will throw some rubber hose over the top of it to protect it and use rubber coated steel clamps to affix it...bit of overkill but will keep it tidy.

If I'm carrying on like a pork-chop, I'm having a great time.

If I go very quiet there's a very good chance I broke something.

All sorted there. T piece on LH hose and across the back of the seats and into the RH tank breather tube. Used 8mm screw in brackets with rubber protection to hold the breather up out of the boot. Have the rear boot board and brackets in this arvo and welding into place in the morning then a touch up paint of the boot in white goods POR 2 pack to tidy it up.

Just in case I need one... :)
Nooooo, the hose is not ye olde Dunlop Diamond, it is Pirtek MPH-06. rated @ 500psi WP.

You got me all excited that you'd found a source of supply for the proper hose, then a let-down.

Ah well, maybe someone someday will find it, or make it. There's a lot of displacers worldwide that could use it.
