Hi is any one running a maniflow twin su 1.5 steel manifold.

I am about to order one and was wondering are there any fitting issues and how is the accelerator cable mounted

I have one but not yet fitted. They need to have something made up to mount the accelerator cable and also require bolts to attach your Carbs which could be welded in from behind for easier fitting or removal of your carbs

It's currently with my engine builder so I can't get a photo sorry.

The SU s are in need of an exterior polish but here are some photos etc.

I used an ITG air filter/ ram arrangement - quite low profile but WIDE -

the spacers were 16mm but when you put a gasket either side and a heatshield in there the 'space' is closer to 20mm.

the bottom of this heatshield where the return springs attach, is the part that wont slip down past the lip on the firewall, unless you tilt the motor forward...

Kiwi. The measure on top between flanges is 45-46mm. And the outer curve is 75mm

Its the same measurement as my one but it wont fit. I dont think my engine is tilted far enough forward.

Do maniflow make an inlet for the spridget also..... that wouldn't need the same upward sweep and therefore make it harder to fit..... (just wondering if yours could be a different one?)
