Does anyone know what the problem was with the Group C Mini that arrived but did not run (by all accounts?)...just there for show and tell? :D

Nope.
Who was running; I hear a lot of the NSW contingent stayed away. Too much $$$$ for what you get.

I spoke to one of the organisers today.
There is every likelihood that the price will rise in the future
The venue costs continue to rise exponentially and if too many categories are added the potential for limited laps increases if there is a delay like there was of an hour on sunday

AB,

David said the problem was a substantial phantom oil leak contaminating the clutch. I believe they tried a number of times to sort it at the track, unfortunately no success.

what an event that was... and go Justin Elvin from SA 1:54 from a mini is epic

and to see him running in third place and to finish fourth was amazing
