My Deluxe was sealed around the inside of the C pillar, and I replaced that with new foam strips 25mm x 25mm after the car was resprayed. It may not be airtight, but it's as near to damnit as it can be made.

Can anyone tell me what colour the rear rotodip hole cover should be when viewed from the boot?

Mine is clearly made from black board, yet when I removed it, the perimeter of the rear facing side was a cream colour and would have been masked
by the rear bulkhead during the car's 50 paintjobs over the years..
The centre teardrop shape was body colour as it had been painted without being removed, but why was the perimeter a cream colour?

What car do you have?

Pretty sure it was Silver Birch Metallic for MK1 range, maybe Silver Ash for the MK2 range.
Leyland mini is probably the body colour.
