Guys, I building a replica J car and I am trying to identify the shock in this picture, based on colour either Koni or Spax ??, looks like he has removed steel/rubber dust cover. any help would be appreciated, Mal :-)

Is there anything stamped on them? Looks like a Spax, some of them had plastic shields (that fell off)

No chance of checking markings, car was destroyed in a crash in the 80s, and was subsequently stripped for parts. Unfortunately the guy that built it passed away a couple of years ago :-(

Are they adjustable? Most all Spax have an adjustment screw near the bottom eye, Konis don't.
On a Koni you remove from car, push the rod right in and rotate it to adjust the internal valving.
If they are Konis, they are sport ones. Std Konis are orange not yellow.
