Got the old girl out of the shed, looked at all of the rust in her, sighed and put her pack in the shed again after a few quick snaps Image

Prepped, primed and first top coat on all the parts i sand blasted the other day. Apart from the engine this should be the last lot of painting.

Started to install all the parts I bought yesterday from Convertible Mini.

Two of these are the hi torque starter and compact 4pk alternator. Now I have almost all parts to lay out the supercharger brackets and alternator relocation. Just need the charger bypass valve.

Was crazy working in the heat.today but probably the only chance I'd have before going back to work, so busy day. I replaced the bottom rad hose and flushed the system, oil change, replaced the clutch hose and put in the accel pedal and cable.

Starting to get a bit closer to having it move under its own power.

Picked up mini clubman from Adelaide yesterday and drove it back to melbourne. Had to deal with 40 degree heat, bush fires, rain storms pretty much everything and the little car just took it all in its stride. Car is pretty dirty after the long drive so looks like I will be cleaning it today.

Washed and polished the car, it was pretty grubby after the long drive yesterday. Then tucked it in the garage with my motorbike and my daughters little peewee motorbike to keep it company.

Changed the oil. Valvoline Classic 20W/50.
Now it's a club car I change the oil twice a year and the filter, once.
The sump plug magnet was clean as a whistle, so that 25mm rare earth magnet on the filter is doing its job. :)

Lol it still is 50cc, it's just so small you can't see it behind my CBR929RR, although my daughter does love To go on daddy's bike but as she is only 5 she isn't allowed.

Cheers. If I get it done this year (2015) it will be just under the magical 10 years
