5/78 is too early for it to be a farewell gesture! It must have just been a cheerful greeting!

The last Zetland Mini would have been very late 74 or early 75. Then they moved production to Enfield.

I fitted the headlights and reconnected the wiring. Fitted the grill. Re-fitted the rear seat base and rear side trim panels, then ….. I started to build up the newly painted passenger door…. Trim on OK and the rest laid out to clean now before I build the mechanism up… Wish me luck… lol

Refitted rear quarter glass wit ha new seal. Put the interior trim back in the door and rear quarter.

Fitted a cyclonic dust separator to the vacuum cleaner on my sand blast cabinet. Surprisingly it works!

Here is how it is done...

Cut a hole in the removable lid of a sealed bucket and screw on the cyclone separator...

Attach it to the blast cabinet and vacuum cleaner, I got some close fitting hoses from the pool cleaner section at Bunnings...
