What a bugger of a spot to get at, takes the biscuit for the most awkward spot on the little beast. :evil:

I good quality slim line spanner and one ratchet spanner and some crc usually does the trick

Thats exactly what I did use, just such a sod of a spot to get at.

You didn't lose the little brass shims did you ?

Thanks I'll double check, thought they were only fitted on older cars?
Did find a very thin white plastic one but wasn't sure it was from the hinge mount.
