Havnt done too much since the last update, been working and racing etc..

Picked up another engine though with low Kim's that I can run as is until I build a high comp engine. In the process of giving it a clean up, still need to paint the cam cover but that's going to be a custom 2k job. Also put my lumpy cams in, replaced the timing belt, water pump and all the other bits to keep it happy.

Doesn't look like much yet, should when it's done though, cam cover will make it

The design on the background is a split Union Jack/ Japanese rising sun and its in an orange prismatic custom colour I made, so when it's cleared ittle pop!

looks awesome dude...

now to be as pretty for the full engine bay are you a) wrapping the exhaust manifold or b)getting a custom shiny joby made up?

That engine cover looks mad! Are you going to do your electrical one to match?
:D

Cheers guys, I can do these for any car, in any design if anyone's interested... Probably cost a few hundred bucks depending on the design..

I've ordered some exhaust wrap in black, but il be cleaning them up an having them coated or il paint them.

What electrical one is that? I think il try and paint a few other bits like that, probably the brake and clutch reservoirs cos they stick out like a sore thumb, might do a black Sean carter Motorsport logo on the rad face too not that you will see it! The joys of having a vynil cutter and access to custom paint :P

Hey Sean,

That looks great!!

How did you go getting the viynyl to stick down to the cover, or is it a water transfer that you floated on??

Either way looks da bom!!

Cheers,
Tricky

It's 100% painted, just lay down a stencil in sign mask film and paint over it. The letters on the twin cam etc are all hand painted
