Sean just check that alloy bracket for the tanks on meeni incase it needs any mods, from memory those holes in the firewall differ slightly from early to late cars in some way or another.

Yeah definitely needs them but I have to get them before I drill too big a hole in it..

Will check that hole alignment! Didn't even think I just assumed the master cylinder bolt holes were all the same

Started fabricating my internal gear selector today as well as modifying the rubber mounted selector to solid mount. I thought the full length tunnel would look a little neater with a bit of carpet on it rather then having exposed rods etc.. Will make a bolt on cap for the back of the box as well as weld some tabs to the box for bolting it to the floor, but will do that using meenis floor as this rover one is a different shape.. Gears feel heaps better without the rubber mounted selector!

Looks ugly right now but it won't when it's all done

Nice work. You'll be glad of the extra space in the tunnel for a 3" exhaust.

Is this engine going into a Rover? The exhaust tunnel is different to Ozy minis

No, goin into meeni.... Are you referring to where the gear selector hole is? As I said nothing is bolted down so when I make mounts it will go in the aus car.

The top needs to have a bit taken off each side to clear the piston as they're a skinnier fit I also need to have Teflon bushes made to hold the gudeon pins in

Il send it all of when I'm having the block and crank etc machined for a polish up. Apparently the rods are pretty good from the factory though so probably won't need to touch them too much

I may have missed a post outlining this, but what is the expected end result spec of the engine (what are you currently targeting)?
From what I can tell its going carby NA ~125 hp, but I also know you've mucked around with blowers and stuff too which could be anywhere from 150 to 250 hp.
:D
