There are a number of UK supercharcher kits and I think the VMAXSCART kit which I have purchased does flow OK. The inlet from the supercharcher is biased to one side so the flow into both head ports is equal.
GR checked it out and didn't say any thing too negative about the kit
The main concern I have is the long input from the carby which ices up

My vmax kit came with a heater element in the air filter supposed to stop it icing up i thought? Mine is all painted just waiting for the call from my mate to say lets go and the conversion begins!

First question, I don't know what version Eaton I have? Can any one tell me what to look for to identify?
Next , I also have a heater element in the air filter but I doubt it will stop the input tube from forming large amounts of water vapor on the inside, and this happens very quickly as the tube get very cold quite quickly

You can tell the blower visually by looking at the vanes.
The early / teflon job is smooth, shiny and grey, the later power ones are rougher (like 2000 grit sandpaper), and more of a matte black in colour.

I checked the veins on the supercharger and they are dark grey, feel rough and appear to be Teflon coated

Wasn't there a prob with the teflon coated ones when used in a carby suck thru mode? Like the fuel attacked the coating? :?

Possible, not something I've heard of when used in a bini.
The only contaminent the vanes have to deal with in a bini is any oil coming through the breather pipes.

Nah it won't happen in a BINI with injection, I'm talking about the BINI blower when used on a Mini and sucking fuel, as per Michael's..

[edit] This point was made on a UK forum I can't remember which one- maybe turbominis?

I think the author was Turbodave, who worked for Eaton superchargers.

I don't know about that, but i remember something about spinning a blower too fast so it got hot enough and the teflon didn't like it.
