Thanks JC,

It was through gumtree.They state there is no buyer protection and the site is to only facilitate face to face transactions.

Motor has arrived, still waiting on the carbs and speedo.

I'm going to get the car running with the 1275 first and see if that is enough fun for me first. If I am left wanting more then I will start thinking about the conversion.

i have a whole pile of spare R1 engine parts here,
basically 2 engines worth
make up one good engine out of the 2 easy-peasy
$300 will make a very cheap R1 powered mini
sorry no carbs or pipes or rad tho
