Makka, all the touble has been around PORT injection, I'm proposing "Wet Manifold" (or Throttle-Body injection - electronic carbie if you wish...)

By injecting further upstream, you add a larger "plenum" effect to the inlet port, BUT you loose some of the subtle niceties of MPI, like fuel now sticks to the port walls, so you loose a "little" efficiency and top-end power (1hp maybe ?)

remember the old Kinsler injection that everyone semed to use on blown V8s in the 80s ? - similar concept.....

**NEWS just to hand**

It has come to my attention that there is a very cheap computer on the market that can be reprogrammed very easily, and would be good for my setup.... I've had 3 different sources confirm this.

Can anybody say "Holden Camira"

Yep, aparrently its true. The old Camira has some electronics that may come in handy.

Time to do some research.

I've posted this a coupla times before in other threads. My mates are building a engine management computer at the moment. Is just had the trademark registered and is allmost completed beta testing phase. Its mainly for LPG & LPG injection but can do petrol EFI as well. I'm in the middle of having mine installed. When this is out of beta testing and retaling this should be a lot cheaper solution that a wolf3d + its australian. If your in WA and you race your minis it would be good if you get in contact and be a part of the beta testing phase. Unlucky if your over east.

Ive seen the thing installed in ford laser with LPG. With a car full of adults the thing belts along.
