Are you sure that's all it takes? I tried pulling it out with pliers, trying to hook onto it with a bent piece of metal but bo good! she's int here tight and it's very small too!

It's all mine took but as I say mine was stuffed

maybe if you take the rubber cover bit off and undo that nut you will be able to get the cast bit that it sits in out and then you should be in a better position to attack it

I think the rubber cover/ seal thing was on the side now, I can't remember :oops:

My new one was tight on the gearstick but loose in the remote change I pulled the new one in and out several times I think just fiddling :D
