 The hinges on the right hand door are fcuked. I asked the mechanic to adjust the doors today (the bolts) but he said theyre as far as they go. He said your only option is to get new hinges. I really dont mind about that, as the bottom one on the right has a bolt through it (quick fix remedy by previous owner!) and the car is getting the rear valance fitted and painted up next week, so i can get the hinges painted then.

Does anyone here in adelaide have some good hinges (2) for the right hand side for clubmans.
If not, i'll just have to wait coz the dude has some on order.

Will.

You can buy new pins and bushes for these hinges, from MiniSpares UK.

Note you need to order the pins and bushes as separate parts.

Easy to fit- you just drill out the center part to 5/16" for the bush, and then fit the new pin and squirt some paint on it.
Problem is, if the hinge is badly worn the hole will be bigger than the bush is.. :(

What you can do (I will too, but haven't yet) is get some bronze bushes made- 0.250" bore and .375" OD (instead of 0.3125"). Then fit with the new pins.

Isn't it funny how it's always the lower RH one that's rooted.. :?

Yeah why is that so? The dickhead had put a bolt straight through it so i cant really fix the bottom one with new pin/bushes because i reckon he's drilled the hole bigger for the bolt.
God, some people dont think about the future.
So anyway im gonna have to replace the whole bottom hinge so i might as well replace both of them.
