Is there any major differences between using the .8 or .6 wire?

<edit> 0.6 wire gives a pretty small weld and so you need a real steady hand. I tried it and went back to 0.8 (which my Kemppi is optimised for). Fills holes real good... :lol:

Dave, I used a gasless MIG, slow wire speed and blew a hole in the work occasionally.

Sorry mate, can't really give more advice than that. Are you working live on the car, or on test material?

Anton ive been using it on Test material...........want to perfect it there first before touching the body!!!

Ill have to wait to next week to find the time try it out again!
