New to Ausmini But i Need help

My Fuel pump Died on my wife. Replaced with a new (German ) Elctc Pump and then Morris would not rev (flutter on accelleration also during out of gear) Changed the Points and Candencer. Checked Plugs, Leads, Coil and Cap but they were only 3 months old. I considered it was fuel also so I checked the fuel filter and placed the pump in the boot. Cleaned out the tank and replaced the pipes and fuel is comming out to the carb. Aircompressed the HIF44 after dimanteling. The only thing i can find thqat could b wrong is the points sometimes close but they are new.
Other wise from changing the screw that holds the points I'm totaly lost with a fluttering 1100. I at the same time changed from Alternators from a lucas 14 to a 17 but have been told it has no connection.
Sorry and yes the Timming and advance have been checked by an ex English mini raced from across the road and he is doing the as me. I have even checked the valves arnot stuck and the gap at the tappets are correct

Any idea's

Wow you have chased through a lot of areas, unfortunately, when doing that you can introduce new faults that might add to the original.

Did you clean the new points with a solvent before you put them in? Go back an carefully check that all the plug leads are correctly inserted in the dissy cap and are gripping the sparkers etc

The fact that fuel is getting to the carb is good, but, is the new fuel pump pulsing fuel? I tend to look at new things introduced in these situations. Do you know someone you could temporarily borrow another fuel pump off? if so - try that and if it fixes the problem .....well....voila!!

Good luck!! :)

Yer I have chased this one. Considering over the time I have changered wheel Bearings and a Rack.

I have fixed and ajusted the points on the old Su pump with no differance, this happenend when I placed the pump in the boot for conveinance with the fuel filter on the down would cycel. No I did not clean the points when I put the new set in but I can only thinkthe points are moving as I have ajusted them a num ber of times.
Ajusted by a 60 year young Mini racer (from england) ((and I mean young)) and he is confused also. He also played with the timing and the advance with the dizzy.
To check the plugs and leads were sparking pulled each plug out and ran it, No probelems. With regards to the leads, When I fitted new leads plugs and cap and coil (GT40) I marked everthing and nothing has changed. Considering I have done the same to a Alfa75 and double everthing I can not understand what has happened since changeing a fuel pump and a alternator.
Yes I have cleaned out the fuel filter.
Any other Idea's.
I can understand if you are confused as we r

Have you trie putting the pump back under the car. Sometimes the pumps will only work on pushing the fuel along and not pumping it from the tank. It is like a syphon hose it needs to be lowe then the tank to work correctly

Yer I did have the Eletrice pump on the sub frame as original. But have not moved it into the boot. Pump is still pumping as normal. So Its not the pump as I can here pumping away at idle also fuel is coming out to the carb.

Time in the ngine bay again today.
