There are a few Diahatsu powered minis around on here.... i wanna put one in a moke....

or a roundy for a daily car...

This is where I am so far with my Swift mini box conversion http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic ... e+mini+box I need to get some measurements and give the machinist some more info so we can start cuting the mini box down to size.
Roughly how much did you cut off the mini box? I'm looking at around 50-60mm or so.

A Mini box is only 4 speed and is inefficient for power transmission. Why would you not just use a 5 speed Daihatsu box like Brad is?

the daihatsu is lighter too
