Guys, there are alot of people it seems with camira rotors on the front of their minis, but none have yet posted a pic of them

theres a massive thread on hondas, why are camiras not getting the same backing

also, if people are doing drive in drive out conversions, why would schematics and instructions of the hondas be litigious?

can someone take photos of a camira setup and say whether or not they would fit under 12" rims

cheers

Andrew

Why?
Why would u hack up a Camira like that. Camira's are ****** awesome cars, i'd hate to see one up on jack stands, being rooted of its brakes.

Go the camiras! :)

Yeap the brakes are nice. They do do the odd "ping" sound as they are cooling down, but i'm unsure if its teh brakes or the muffler or something similar.

Jan can fill us in, but I'm sure mutant doesn't have camira discs, but might have at on stage.
I know that camira discs are popular on racing minis, when they have big enough rims.

HIJACK: I actually thought about drilling wheel arches into Lillee and putting in the honda brakes once and for all the other day when agonising over 7.5 inch disc brake prices...

... all for about 30 secs then I came to my senses

I had Camira's on my mini several years ago before the rebuild.

I was running them with 12" performance superlites. No problems at all.

The only reason they came off was because of the legality at the time. We had someone stirring it up down here and decided to put on 8.4's.

In my opinion they were the best brakes I have ever used. I used to have a GT (Cooper S brakes) but I preferred the Camira's.

I still have them but they are stored at a friends place and can't really get to them to take any photos sorry.

i have them on bricktop with out an y probs under 12's....

I had S discs on before and i think they absolutely pull up much harder then them!

I have heard of people engineering them, it is quite do-able but i do not want to be held accountable if people cannot get it done for any reason. Both Chris (Twincammin) and I have had quotes from engineers and its round 300 buckers......

I have my wheels off atm, so I will take some photos tonight
