This morning I spent 2.5 hours organizing some of my huge pile of Mini parts.

Finished rebuilding Bez's 1293A+ motor & box.
Next week when it's gone I can bring Nursemini's `77 van in, and we'll start stripping it. :P

:D I took BALLISTIC for a quick blast up the shops and broke the silence of the modern cars and drowned out the group of elderly Italian blokes that hang around the front of the bakery and talk (yell):!: 8) :D

I built some of the seat mounts this evening for the driver's seat. Fitting MX-5 seats.

Hey Ballistic did the same only the blokes weren't Italian, just the usuals at the coffee shop. Just love the sound of an RC40 echoing through the villiage. Who needs a radio.

Replaced the indicator arm on the Clubby van after #3 son (nearly 2 y.o.) played a little too hard at driving in the garage

Also made up a shim using 4mm aluminium bar to space the steering column lowering bracket properly. Seems they don't fit clubbies very well without bending the upper bracket...

Oh, and fixed the sticky choke.. now idles like a champ. Also fitted a clutch return spring after much cursing and swearing.. a sod of a job in a confined space, that one.
