oh goodness me..

Honestly, this exactly was going to be my next project. Got the clubbie shell ready but short of time at the moment..
Certainly seems a lot of trouble to fit the MR2 body, which would have lost 80% of its orginal stiffness into the mini which worked on subframes.

Using the MGF rear subframe seems to be a more elegant solution which is being done by many in the UK..

As everyone said, the track is just too much for a mini to look nice

Bloke on the moke forum who wants to put an mr2 engine into a lightened moke (why???) along with skyline brakes and a whole lotta other stuff.... best of luck to him i spose...
