You have to keep in mind that these damn cherman car people once tried to destroy where the Mini was eventually spawned....I think classic Mini drivers should adopt a condescending "I'll acknowledge your wave only grudgingly and even then only out of courtesy!!"

blah blah blah the Germans destroyed the Mini...blah blah blah.
We have heard it all before, it was bollocks then and it is bollocks now :P

The Germans actually saved the brand.
When BMW took over Rover they asked what plans Rover had for the Mini.
The answer was essentially NONE!, Rover planned sell it until it could no longer be sold due to safety and emissions regulations then drop it.
Without BMW there would be no MINI and the Mini would still have ceased production and the world would be a sadder place.

I wave to Minis and MINIs and rarely get a wave in return but if you are ever in these parts I will happily return your wave.

Cooper S - overpriced and underpowered compared to what else you can get for the same money!

Mini or BINI, I can't see the difference!

I generally give new mini drivers the finger cos I can't afford a new one and I'm jealous.

You call yourself "uneeeq", so you shouldn't want them to wave back.

Then they'd be like you.

I am so upset at the lack of brotherhood comradeship shon by new MINI drivers. When I owned Merlin (my 78 Clubby) EVERYONE waved at me and I always waved back!
Now with my new MINI I wave at all the new MINI drivers and NOT ONE has waved back! Come on people! You drive a MINI! Its the most awesome car on the face of the planet!

I cant wait to see a classic Mini driver so I can have a good ol' wave and have someone wave back! I feel like a goose waving at all the people who dont wave back!

I will keep on waving though!!! :)

Don't worry to much about it.
The majority of new MINI drivers would only see their cars as a form of transport.
Keep waving though. Some drivers acknowledge the heritage.

I pass the same MINI going to work every morning, and we usually wave to each other. Not all of us are bad.

Yes unfortunately most new MINI drivers now are not enthusiasts so less and less waves forthcoming. I always wave to old mini's but cant be bothered with new anymore, most of them dont even look at you.
