The engine light comes on at the moment and BMW tells me this is the air sensor clogged. BMW says just keep running tanks of fuel through and it will clear itself !! I would like to find it remove, clean and replace. At the same time I would like to change the air filter. Anything that helps me do this would be appreciated.

Cheers

John

What model is your MCS?
R53 or R56?
If the garage can tell you what the fault code is then you can verify the cause of the problem.
A full list of codes can be found on MINI2

are you talking about the o2 sensor that is on the exhast system?. they are ok at fitting but not the best without a hoist, as its easier to get at the sensor if it is up in the air.

if it is the correct part i am talking about email me with the last 7 numbers of your vin for your car and i can email you back the instructions

my email is [email protected]
