Hello,
Is anyone here interested in doing a 2 litre vauxhall engine conversion in their mini? I have just bought a calibra for the body and am thinking of selling the engine real cheap. It would include absolutely everything you could need including dash, wiring, manual five speed gearbox, driveshafts and I think it has extractors but will have to check. I would love to do a conversion into my partly built race mini but really want to build a calibra v8 hill climb dtm style car. My email is [email protected] and im in Brisbane. Talk to me about price and we can work something out if you want to lend a hand to get it out of the car. These engines have a cosworth designed head. And its cheap!!!!

They are a good engine, albeit a little heavy being cast iron block.

Arent they just a family 2 gm engine - as used by Hyundai and Holden. Why not get a Camira engine?

If its the 16-valve it should be the C20XE series.

Hi
It is the 16 valve engine. Good usable running engine. I would not have bothered advertising a camira motor! Comes with all wiring driveshafts etc. Basically any running gear you want with it. Car will be at virginia shortly. Can be started before engine is pulled out.
I would like $500
Corey

Does have extractors that are not rust and remus muffler if you want the system to adapt.

I didn't think you could put a 2 litre in a mini (physically it can be done but not legally).
:?

Yeah I do.

Lets do a mid-mount RWD hillclimber!
