Hi all,

Does anyone here have pics of red binis they could post up please? I am trying to deduce what colour my mini is and the PO has suggested it is the same red as the new MINIs.

I tried www.mini.com.au but couldnt find a colour chart (i could be blonde though)

i think Cherry is a little brighter than DOZ's new work car... I really am at a loss as to what colour she is :(

edit: possibly the red of earlier minis? Would that be chilli red? e.g.

Mine is Chilli Red and it looks like a dark blood red. Your car looks more scarlet o'hara to me - is it meant to be the original colour?

no idea. It was painted before the previous owner got it. I messaged the PO and he said that he thought it was painted new MINI red.

The reason I ask is because the door hinges need adjusting/new hinge pins and i will need some touch up paint, i also have a few chips in the paint work i want to fix & wasnt too keen on paying heaps of money to get it colour matched but i will if it cant be avoided

your best taking it to get paint matched there are lots of different reds and yours may have even faded or not been mixed to the right colour in the first place.

yeah, take it to be colour matched, joe and i took it to scotts auto-one, didnt cost much for him to get his colour matched.

So for best results, get it colour matched.
