hey guys im about to embark on a a lmid to late 90s jap dash conversion. i have aquired a dash including gauges, wiring and switches for $60 from a wrecker, i will be taking pics when i take it out and start to mate it to the minis cabin. just a heads up guys ;)

nice mate, mine has come up pretty good and was pretty easy in the end. You going to wakefield on the 9th?? see you there if you are.

cant make wakefield , its a school day :( im using a daihatsu mira dash , im also contemplating using the entire wiring loom from the car, both to get a decent fuse box and to make fitting the dash easier.

well i have started. the dash, most wiring and heater were all mine , for $50 :D i have started trimming the dash to fit and fibreglassing will be starting this week also . pics to follow asap .

13sec, that is one of the best interiors I've seen in a mini, but are you going to do anything about those doorcards? The brown doesn't really work with the yellow, gold black and silver.

thats just the photo, the door cards are as black as the ace of spades, all ties in nicely with the seats.

looks sweet mate , can u please post some pics of how u finished off the ends of the dash ? also how did u do the steering column setup? is it mini column wsith starlet stalks or all starlet?
