hi people was just after some help regarding a custom cold air induction box to fit onto a webber 45dcoe???

Have been looking at getting on for some time now.
link automotive made one but the guy that makes them harnes i think he is called stopped making them as they were a tad hard to reproduce and some of them didnt fit quite well. theres was a good one from what i saw with all the proper induction porting insde the main chamber and it was made from alloy and had two entrences both around the 2 inch wide area.

dose anyone out there have one off theses???
if so do you think it makes a diffeence???
and dose anyone out there in mini land know of anyone who sells a kit that fits onto a webber and onto a mini?????

any help would be great.

thanks...from minifreak1

I did make one, (not quite finished as shown) it just fits on a DCOE or DHLA carb (using Redline 3005 manifold) without cutting the firewall. There is 10mm clearance.
Sold to Mini Mad (along with the 40DHLA carb) but he's not picked it up yet.
Intake horn is 70mm dia. Filter shown was to get it running, then bend some tube up and try different ram lengths. Yeah- probably a waste of time, I know.

No, I had one at Rheem...
Not now.
But next year, the nice taxman might help me buy another..

Actually, as it's all 2 & 3mm plate, I could have MIG'd it... :P
