if anyone knows of a place that does conversion kits for mini's that are either made in australia or post to australia post a link here..

I've been keen as on the MiniTec kit.

BUT, I have found out it's no good for road use here. Apparently, according to the engineer I spoke to, the track is increased too far and the "crumple zone" is affected as total engine bay is filled. I'm not sure if I believe the crumple zone thing, but it's what I was told. You might find an engineer that will pass it, I hope you do so you can give me his name so I can spend the $10k. It's a fantastic kit.

It dosnt matter if you find an engineer that will pass it, they can still crap can you. Even if you have an engineer cert if its illegal, its illegal... They can and still will book you for it
