I agree with Jasonf. Do what you want with it. It is a sweet start!
Be sure to keep us all posted on the progress. :D

Good stuff riddo.

How are you picking it up? Hopefully not with it perched on top of a box trailer like I did.
The whole way home I kept thinking that if it fell off it would just look like the scene of some horrific accident:D

Cheers

Very nice LS to start with, just keep the conversion to the same standard and you will be right 8)

You got any pics of your dad's mini? Where are you located?

can any of you that have done the conversion tell me if there is any major problems that you encountered when doing the conversion, that i may need to look out for, that is certain things that have to be done that are not obvious at first?
i'm hoping to get most of the bits to do the conversion before i start pulling my mini down, was going to use another subframe and get all of that done before even touching my car.. possibly having the subframe ready for the engine out of the car then installing subframe to car one complete?
i would appreciate anyones ideas on getting started with this.... also has anyone got any spare subframes?

Riddo, read Tricky's (Archangel007)'s El-Gato post completely. He has gone into a lot of detail, esp on the Sub frame side of things.
