Order in the forum.

It does not matter where his funding comes from, rather the fulfilment of a good driving experience. By this he will need some questions answered.

Now back on track.

A fine upstanding gentleman once told me:
"You can sleep in a car, but you can't drive a house"
I think there's something in there for all of us, don't you?

Now did I hear about endemic gearbox problems a little while back that BMW would not repair under warranty??

Seriously, If I had bought a house when I built my turbo engine (in ~1997) I'd be $200,000-$250,000 in front cause thats how much my house went up in value from then till the time I bought it.

Buy a house, stick someone in it to rent and pay the difference. I have a female friend of mine who is 21 and could pay cash for a new BINI with the capital gain on her investment unit!!

Don't get caught in the trap "I'll do this while I'm young then save for a house" - you never get old, the only people who think you are old are young people.

Daniel - end rant

agreed on the house thing, live in it for 6 months to get the govt grant, and then rent it out, then you've got an appreciating asset that is only costing you a small amount.

and if you have 2 nice real minis to play with why do you want another car?
