Just wondering if anyone knew if a mini can be conveted from a FWD car to a RWD legally is South Australia. I am thinking of a 2L jap engine. If possible could anyone please give a random guess to engineering costs?

Cheers

well if you must do it just mount a mini body to the frame of a suzki serria or a ute and it will just be come a rebodied vehicle like a manx dune buggy or the hummer replicas on patrol chasis. hey then you all so get four wheel drive and that would be so cool.

yes it can be done and if you are worried about the cost of engineering it maybe look at doing some thing else as engineering cost are proable the cheapest part in any conversion. you can also do all the modeds and rego it as an icv as i know a guy that has just built and rego here in nsw a ford escort with a 351 in it and a icv. so yes it can be done.
