MiniBoo,,, just for you, i will take some pics of the whole kit,,, in fact i`ll take a pic of all the bits & pieces in big piles so that everyone can see the progress & get an idea of the work we`ve done to date.

nearly everything is done now, i`m starting on the patterns for the drillings needed to be done on the top of the mini engine block to suit the Bimmer cyl head stud holes & water passage holes,,,i`m also in the process of finishing off all the cast iron threaded bungs for same

& i`m about to rip into machining all the fitting plugs which are used to set the front cyl head plates centralised for dowelling,,, these are simply a round plug to align the front head plate with the cams so they are dead central with the holes for the seals in the plates, so there won`t be any leaks,,, once they`re used to set the plate dowels then they are disregarded

However , i can take pics tomorow of all the essential parts that make up the entire kit, ----->because they`re all "FINISHED"!!!!!!!!!

. I could actually start selling them right now, but i want to make sure everyone who buys one of these kits from me will have those fiddly little bits like the cast iron threaded block bungs & block surface drilling pattern & such,,, to add these to my basic conversion kit will not only help those who havn`t the nouse or equipment to do it correctly & accuratly for them selves, but will also make it a very much more professional kit indeed

so,,, everyone will be able to get the sneak preview of the finished article tomorow

Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But,,, i still havn`t added everything up to work out a firm price yet,,, but i hope to have all that sorted next week (ish)

sorry but i just couldnt get the piles of stuff together in one shot,,, there`s simply WAY too much to get together ...& basically all the piles of seperate stuff have allready been shown along the way as each batch of stuff was finished,,, so just look back through the pages & you`ll see all the individual pieces in their respective piles anyways

so,,, there you go,,, if you can imagine a few more things added to that lot shown in the above post---> things like a pile of cast iron threaded plugs for the top of the block... & a timing belt,,, & a couple of cam plugs to align & dowel the front cyl head plate to the cyl head,,, & a thin sheet of alloy for a stud pattern template to drill the engine block, then you have the full basic fitting kit ready to go

Edit-->Oh!!! & i will also be supplying all the relevent oil seals, bolts & nuts, timing belt & tensioner etc with this kit,,, just to let you all know that it will be a very comprehensive kit indeed.

Oky-DokY????????????

Sooo,,,Who`s up for one of these babys?????

Yeah well i can`t see why not, so i spose the answer is yes, but they`re all not done yet, should only be a week or so i expect tho,,, depends on whether we rip into them or the drilling templates first... but either way, they will be done

as the old saying goes,,, "If you build it, they will come"

:-)

OH!!!! & just for those who have allready asked (any anyone else interested),,, yes the top cam pulleys are 3 piece, fully adjustable,,, so you can play with your cam timings easy-peasy if you feel the need to make more grunt up top in the revs by closing up the cams (increase overlap),,, or you can open up the cams for drivabilty &/or Turbo applications.

sorry guys,,, No price yet,,, like i said above --> here`s the quote-->

I could actually start selling them right now, but i want to make sure everyone who buys one of these kits from me will have those fiddly little bits like the cast iron threaded block bungs & block surface drilling pattern & such,,, to add these to my basic conversion kit will not only help those who havn`t the nouse or equipment to do it correctly & accuratly for them selves, but will also make it a very much more professional kit indeed

so i`m trying to finish that lot off, along with producing the conversion guide onto Video CDs which come with the kit.

so , again i`m sorry for the delay, but years ago i let the cat out of the bag way too early & simply because my machinist is a mate meant that it took way longer than it should have,,, I would have liked to have had this kit out on the market about 4 or 5 years ago & i certainly could have if i`d used a different machinist,,, But to use any other machinist would have meant lesser quality final product.

Also, we have developed & refined the kit further over the time as well ,so it ends up a far better product

I just don`t want to let the cat out of the bag "Too" early again

not long to go now,,, send me a PM if you want one,,, sorry if anyone has sent me an email lately but my email system has buggered up & i`m trying to sort the problem with my host/server thing-a-me-bob-mob... Kev (Irish on here) ( is My computer geek) he isn`t avaliable right now as he`s moving house so i`m stuffing around trying to sort it myself & i`m not getting very far with it i must say... dam computers should have a carby & a dizzy,,, then i`d be right :-)
