Alright guys on my way to driving again, shafts will be ready in about another week :D

Getting them made at AGM Engineering Emu Plains - nice guy and quick turnaround. $500 for one piece billet shafts.

Bah! Just goes to show how much other places are ripping you when they charge $900-1000+

Most other places were around that price and had no idea what i was talking about, just seems like they plucked a few figures out of the air and "ah we'd have to see them first."

These guys have done a few mini's before including Borgy's G13B Tiger mini and also Borg's Honda VTEC MRA Mini along with various axles for Trans-am GT cars and lots of other stuff.

If you're in SA and don't want to have to worry about postage, K&A Engineering - formerly K&A Motorsport on Salisbury Hwy are awesome. They make drvishafts for Formula Fords and anything else custom. They also make a bunch of other cool stuff. Reality is they are next door to a gearbox / splining / Hobbing shop which is well known for its Subaru gearboxes, so it means its all basically done on the same premise...
Let me know if you want some (PM with details) and i can draw something up...

He builds sports sedans. the ones with 6 litre chev engines. knows how to make stuff work. a couple of pissy little mini driveshafts should be no problem

If he can make a championship winning car out of Rover SD1....
