cool guys thanks for the help, i might leave the guards untill i can get the wheels under to see if they will hit.

i like these kind of flares anyway so ill just keep these i think, and ill weld on some extentions on to the arch to fit the flare, but is there a way they clip on at the back as well

I am looking to put the Minisport 'Cooper S flares' onto my '65 deluxe body. Talked to Tony today but currently out of stock. I like the look of this type and want to stay away from the screw on type.

What I would like to see is some dimensions and some photos of the metal strips that have to be added (welded/riveted) to the existing wheel arch lip. Also any photos from underneath looking up at the flare would help to see how they attach. I am planning on using the 5'' x 10" performance wheel with 145 tyres (not the wheels that are in the photo)
I know I could get away without the arches but have already decided to include them when doing the body and paint.

regards

You an also buy the metal strips from most mini places, I know mini king has some. Welded onto car then cut to profile with a dremel worked for me.

Thanks Scott,

Still don't know if it is worth the hassle but I do like the look!

Thanks for the photos.
