I just had a quick look. Not sure of the brand but the muffler is stainless steel (It was dirty so I quickly cleaned it, and it's shiney 8) ), it's of the striaght through type.

Has LCB manifold (probably wildcat or similiar), and the exhaust is 2 inch the whole way. Very thoaty. :)

Carbies are twin 1 1/4 SU's wiyth ramflo filters and sound nice underload.

Oh and no the car isn't an 1100, it's a 1275.

some *@#$% stole my budget extractors so im looking for crazy things to replace them with. I'm thinking Maniflow LCB with ceramic coating. I know your all thinking......OVERKILL and ive read a whole bunch of threads where a lot of you are saying that stuff isnt necessary. I only have a standard 998 :) I'm just crazy and probably a bit stupid. But hey, whats wrong with that?

imo 2inch is over the top unless you have serious power

i have a lukey on my corolla (4age twincam with 2 & 1/4 inch) and the note inside the car is very deep (due to the piping) but outside it is very tinny, and thats the result of the muffler. lukey's are renowned for their sound albeit tinny, some love it, some hate it - i can live with it i guess. when i come back from overseas itll be put down to a 2inch with two resonators - guess its the old age of 25 setting in

it can be less than 2 inches in diameter cant it? I thought that 1.625 was available. Or is that just the exhaust pipes? I'm mot sure.

I've got 1.75" Maniflow LCB's on my 998 + .020". I like them and I'm happy with them.

Do whatever makes you happy, it's your car!

IMO, I wouldn't go for 2" LCB's - waaaayyyy tooo big, I think 1.75" LCB's are the biggest anyone should put on a 998.

Not to bad, just very slow  I renamed it to 'Rumble' too, 'coz that's what it's going to do when it's finished  I cut the front end off a few days ago but I've been pretty busy with work so I haven't done much else yet :(

The collector for the extractors is 1 7/8", just right 8) I'll most likely run straight pipe out to a single straight-thru oval muffler, it sounded great on my last mini :D

Is that 'Jet-Hot' coating or another similar ceramic coating?

The guys who do Jet-Hot are a rip-off IMO.. They quoted me over three times as much as Thermal Edge, and the quality of work is awesome. They also do a lot of work for Mini racers, developing their own manifolds, etc. It's called 'CermaKrome' 8)

Nice guys...

Here's some more pics of some stuff I had done there ---

My old Weber manifold ( W33VAN owns this now :) )
