does that mean we get to return the motion back at them with either.

a) a small cupping motion with the hands or

I just did b) to myself quietly here in the office and had a good chuckle to myself.
Oh how boring Fridays can be.

So you want the good news or the not so good news?

When GR says 'Your crazy, it will take longer than that!' the correct response is 'Your right GR, lets replan' ... the incorrect response is, 'Nah, she'll be right, its me and Ben, 1/2 a day tops' :D

Well, that was sat morning (kind of midday)

Still going Sunday afternoon.

Its getting there, but a few hiccups and lots of fiddly bits.

Photos REALLY soon.

Some things we had to do...
Extend the top engine steadies (both sides)
Move brake line a bit (was hitting dump pipe)
Thats the biggest issues 'really'

Apart from that, we did
Cam change to RE13T (in car - not that easy! Dont try yourself)
Electric Fuel Pump
ARP Head studs
Turbo headers on
Turbo on
Dump pipe on
Regulator modded and on
All lines re-fitted
Wiring for pump done

Still lots more, but should be all sweet today.

it's just so neat!

and an intercooler would sit down the front so nicely!

why couldn't Rover set theirs up like that, instead of down behind the motor.... cos they're dumb, that's why! bugger the brake booster off and they'd have been right!

Thanks Simon... thats Bens handy work... the pipes really are a work of art.
I showed another mini man the car this morning, he said "Tell Ben I take my hat off to him - absolutely brilliant work"

drbr11k - The fluid seems to be fine without heat shielding... 'might' put some in later to be safe... but dont think it needs it.

Need to possibly upgrade radiator... when its on boost alot it gets to 100deg C .. maybe a tad over that.

Driving around off boost it sits on 80-90deg C so thats great.

Intercooler will be next, and yeah, will sit very nice and neat.

Tell you all what though, its such smooth power its not funny... pulls HARD from 3000-7500rpm and feels like it will go much more (not going to test that) ... up hills when it gets on boost the front end starts to creep a bit... just gets very light and scary...

Awesome!!!!

Cheers,
Peter

no, because they designed it just for the Metro  plenty of space behind the engine.
and ERA had to keep all factory turbo parts with it's conversion so Rover could give a warranty and support it throu the dealers, i think
