I'm having difficulty finding an SC12... What other types are there to suit A series 1275???

Too big.
You need something sized to suit an A-series. The SC12 as it's name suggests pumps out 1.2L for each revolution.

Keep an eye on Toymods - they pop up on there more often than ebay.

Alternatively you could use one off a Subaru Vivio, Nissan March or (at worst) off an old Commer van. All of these have been fitted to minis with some success.

Try your local wreckers and importers, that ebay one has a week to go and already is $300  you should be able to get em cheaper at a Jap importer...hopefully
