yer i think im gonna shift my 1275 A+ course from supercharging to NA that goes
almost as hard.
im thinking of cleaning her up first with the standard rebuild.
pistons = ?
dizzy = ?
cam = ?
carby = hif44/weber?
crank = standard?
balancing = required?
centre oil pick up = yes
diff ratio = i only fear a quick/standard ratio for long trips, i dont like the idea of the engine sitting at 4g's for 8 hours
diff = lsd, is it worth it?
head = 12g940 what sort of head work?
extractors = lcb's
disc brakes = honda standard size which is??
i was hoping u could fill in the blanks doc.
i've worked out what i want from my mini.
i dont want the complications of the supercharger, even tho i can get a kit and it'll be sweet, my mate superchargered
his datto and i saw the troubles he had, and he's mechanically minded where as im not clicked on in that way.
i want my car to go as hard as it can whilst keeping it reliable. i need to get to work to pay the bills. just wanna get there quick

No I've not built that many Mini motors, TheMiniMan (Matt Read) gets that accolade by heaps.
But here are my guesses-
pistons = Hypatecs, you can get standard oversizes +.020-40-60, or 73mm (1360cc) or 73.5mm (1380cc).
dizzy = Nissan Pulsar D4R85
cam = Russell Engineering RE-13
carby = 45DCOE Weber or 45DHLA Dellorto
crank = Crack test, measure, grind if needed
balancing = required? Good idea- do the clutch, flywheel & balancer too, as well as the crank.
centre oil pick up = yes
diff ratio = 4K revs won't hurt it, I'd run a 3.44 on the street.
diff = lsd, is it worth it? I'd forget it for street use
head = 12g940 what sort of head work? 35.6mm inlets, get head ported to suit or buy Vizard's yellow book and do it yourself. Deck the head to get around 10.0:1 C/R
extractors = lcb's
disc brakes = honda standard size which is?? 9.1" approx.
I would add- crack test the rods, check them for straightness, balance them, fit new ARP rod bolts & nuts. If they are 1100S big journal rods, get them lightened.
And, if you want a bit more power up high fit 1.5 rockers.
